In my undergraduate days,this was my favorite look. In fact, it was more like a signature look for me😊😄.

I 🤔, that was when I got more nicknames like ” Chinko/Chinks” a slang for looking so “Asian/a Chinese girl.”
I had some taunting comments too. Comments like”Are you sure,you didn’t miss the plane?”
” Are you even a Nigerian as you claimed 🙄that you’re?”
” I bet she got on the wrong plane”
You would think, that your girl would stop with these comments
Naah! I was resilient because at the time, I just wanted a simple look without having to do some rigorous styling everyday before lectures 🙃😪
